Marmoraria Resend’s Pedra

Case History: Marmoraria Resend’s Pedra invests in Achilli quality
News

Resend’s Pedra Ltda is a leading Brazilian company based in Bicas (State of Minas Gerais) specialized in the design and fabrication of floors, coverings and stone works for interior decoration. The company is going throughremarkable growth involving new technological investments to improve productivity and expand their product range. In a few years they evolved from a virtually manual production, made by hand tools, to CNC machines allowing automated stone working.

Cooperation with Achilli started about 1 year ago, through our dealer Incomil, by purchasing a saw designed for the professional 45 degree cutting: our miter saw modelMSA. This machine permitted them to start designing customized stone workpiecesjoining together several 45 degree parts, easily fitting any shapes and structures, so as to provide the appearance of a solid stone worked piece, but with a much reduced weight and, at the same time, setting off the stone veins.

When Resend’s Pedra began needing to increase their production of bathroom and kitchen tops, they decided to commit themselves again to Achilli for purchase of the 3-axis monoblock saw model MBS, a simple and flexible bridge saw, though capable of providing advanced performance, making the company quite independent in realizing most of their projects.

Satisfied with quality and performance of the machines last June the company installed our new bridge saw model GLD TSB: a fully automatic CNC compact saw capable of performing any types of straight and curve cuts, as well as surface shaping and leveling. A new technological boost that will permit Resend’s Pedra to complete their offer.

It is always very rewarding when we are able to follow our customers from their first steps and watch them grow, also thanks to our continued commitment and support. This is what has been leading us to work every day with passion in our 60 year activity.
